Description:

Basler Electric RA-70 ASV20 Reference Adjuster is a microprocessor-based reference adjuster that replaces motor-operated potentiometers, delivering precise rheostat or potentiometer outputs to Basler AVRs and related controls. It is designed for behind-the-panel mounting in switchgear or control boxes, with all controls and indicators on the front panel and a 0–1 mA output that drives an external position indicator. The RA-70 family comprises three interface styles: RA-70A (two-wire rheostat output with a maximum output resistance of 5.0 kΩ), RA-70P (three-wire potentiometer output), and RA-70M (three-wire potentiometer output with the ability to sense the outputs of a voltage regulator and of a manual voltage control for bumpless transfer), and it can provide dual reference outputs for twin AVRs. Compatible equipment includes Basler SSE and SSR regulators, SR-A/SR-E/SR-H/SR-F regulators, APR regulators, AVC63-12 and AVC125-10 regulators, MVC-112/MVC-236/MVC-301 manual voltage controls, and control devices such as EL-200, SCP-250, and UFOV-260; optional external null and position meters are available, and factory presets are supported. The unit is convection-cooled and carries an 18-month warranty against defects in material and workmanship.
