Baumer Electric IFRM 06P1707 Inductive Proximity Sensor

Baumer IFRM 06P1707 is a high-temperature, cylindrical inductive proximity sensor (diameter 6.5 mm, length 30 mm) with flush mounting. It provides a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm and a PNP normally-open (NO) output, powered from 6 to 30 VDC with a maximum current of 100 mA and built-in short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. The device uses a stainless steel housing and a PBT sensing face, with IP67 ingress protection and a 1 m FEP cable. In ambient temperatures from -25 to +100 °C, the sensor exhibits a temperature drift of ±10% from -25 to +75 °C, or -10%/+15% from -25 to +100 °C, and supports a switching frequency up to 5 kHz, making it suitable for metal-target detection in harsh environments such as automation, packaging, and material handling.
