Baumer Electric IFRM 06P3701 Inductive Proximity Switch

Baumer IFRM 06P3701/L is a miniature cylindrical inductive proximity switch designed for flush mounting, offering a 2 mm nominal sensing distance and a PNP normally closed (NC) output that activates when a ferrous target enters range. It operates on a 10–30 V DC supply, drawing up to 12 mA no-load and capable of sourcing up to 200 mA with a voltage drop under 2 V, with built-in short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection for reliability in demanding industrial environments. The sensor features a stainless steel housing with a 6.5 mm diameter and 30 mm length and a PBT sensing face, rated to IP67 and able to operate from -25 to +75 C, with a switching frequency up to approximately 5 kHz. Connection is via a 2 m cable for the L variant, and Baumer provides mounting accessories for Ø6.5 mm sensors to simplify secure installation in control cabinets and machine frames.
