Baumer Electric IFRM 18N 1701 S14L Inductive Proximity Sensor

Baumer Electric IFRM 18N1701/S14L is an 18 mm cylindrical inductive proximity sensor with a quasi-shielded, M18 x 1 threaded housing that detects metal targets at a nominal distance of 8 mm. It operates from 10–50 V DC and provides an NPN make-output (NO) capable of sinking up to 200 mA, with output voltage drop under 3 V and built-in short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection. The sensing face is PBT, the housing is brass nickel-plated, and the unit uses an M12 connector with a 2 m S14L cable. It carries an IP67 rating and operates from -25 °C to +75 °C, suitable for rugged industrial environments. Four red LEDs indicate the output status, helping diagnose operation in challenging conditions.
