Baumer Electric IFRM 18P1701 S14L Limit Switch

Baumer IFRM 18P1701/S14L is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor (18 mm diameter, 50 mm long) with an M12 connector and a PNP make-function (NO), designed to replace mechanical limit switches by detecting metal targets without contact in automation environments. It provides an 8 mm nominal sensing distance (Sn) with 3–25% hysteresis, and a 4‑LED red output indicator that clearly communicates the switch state in tight installations. Operates from a 6–36 V DC supply and can source up to 200 mA, with a voltage drop under 3 V and built-in short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection for robust performance. The sensing face is made of PBT and the housing is brass with a nickel-plated finish, giving an IP67 rating and operation from -25 to +75 C, suitable for demanding industrial spaces.
