Baumer IFFM 20P17A3 KS35PL (169-2) is a compact rectangular inductive proximity sensor built for flush-mount installation, delivering reliable metal-detection with an 8 mm nominal sensing distance and a PNP normally-open output. It features a footprint 20 mm wide by 32 mm long, a PBT sensing face, and a brass nickel-plated housing with an M8 connector for field wiring. Operating from 10 to 30 VDC, it draws up to 200 mA and switches at up to 500 Hz, with a voltage drop under 2 V and built-in short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection. The sensor is rated IP67 for moisture and dust resistance and handles temperatures from -25 to +75 C. A red LED indicator confirms the output state.
