Baumer IFRM 08N1701 Inductive Proximity Sensor

Baumer IFRM 08N1701/L is a compact, flush-mount inductive proximity sensor built for tight spaces, measuring 8 mm in diameter and 30 mm long with a stainless steel housing and a PBT sensing face. It delivers a 2 mm nominal sensing distance (Sn) with a 3–20% hysteresis, and uses a NPN make function (NO) output powered from a 6–36 VDC supply, up to 200 mA of load current, with ~12 mA current draw no-load. Status is indicated by a red LED, and the unit includes short-circuit and reverse polarity protection. Rated IP67 for protection against dust and water ingress and specified for operation from -25 °C to 75 °C, it suits harsh industrial environments. A 2 m cable accompanies the sensor, and mounting torque is designed for flush installation with a front torque of 7 Nm and a total torque limit of 10 Nm.
