Baumer IFRM 08P37A1 S35L Inductive Proximity Sensor

Baumer IFRM 08P37A1/S35L is a compact cylindrical inductive proximity switch designed for flush mounting with an M8 connector. It detects metal targets at a nominal distance of 2 mm and provides a PNP normally closed (NC) output. Supplied from 6 to 36 V DC, it supports up to 200 mA output current with a voltage drop below 2 V, and it operates across -25 to +75 °C in IP67-protected, stainless-steel housing with a PBT sensing face. The device measures 46 mm in length and 8 mm in diameter, with short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection, and a no-load current around 12 mA. With a switching frequency up to 5 kHz, the IFRM08P37A1/S35L is intended for fast, repeatable sensing in compact automation tasks, including end-stop detection and presence sensing on conveyors, presses, or robotic grippers, where a robust 8 mm sensor in a stainless-steel package is advantageous.
