Baumer IFRM 18P17A3 S14L Inductive Proximity Sensor

Baumer IFRM 18P17A3/S14L is an 18 mm-diameter cylindrical inductive proximity switch (M18 housing) designed to detect metal targets without contact. It operates on a 10–30 VDC supply and provides a PNP normally-open output, with a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and hysteresis of 3–20% of Sn. The unit features three LEDs for status indication, a current draw of up to 10 mA no-load, and an output current rating of up to 200 mA with a Vd under 2 V, plus short-circuit and reverse-polarity protection. The housing is brass, nickel-plated, and the sensing face is PBT; it uses an M12 connector and measures 60 mm in length with an 18 mm diameter, suitable for quasi-flush mounting (not for flush mounting in mild steel). It carries an IP67 rating and operates from -25 to +75 °C.
