Baumer IFRM08P3703S14L Inductive Proximity Sensor

Baumer IFRM08P3703S14L is a miniature flush-mount inductive proximity switch with an 8 mm cylindrical housing and a nominal sensing distance of 2 mm. The stainless-steel body protects a PBT sensing face, and the unit has a 50 mm housing length with an M12 connector for wiring. It operates on 6–36 V DC, draws up to 12 mA no-load, and provides a PNP normally closed (NC) output rated to 200 mA. Its switching frequency is up to 5 kHz, with a hysteresis of 3–20% of Sr, and it includes a 3-port red LED indicator. The sensor includes reverse-polarity and short-circuit protection, and is IP67-rated for dust and water ingress; it tolerates -25 to +75 °C. Applications include metal part detection in automation, end-of-travel sensing, and position feedback in compact assemblies on small production lines.
