Baumer MIL10-S2.CE.0025P.A Linear Encoder

Baumer MIL10-S2.CE.0025P.A is a compact incremental linear encoder head that provides non-contact, magnetic-tape based feedback for precise linear motion in automation, CNC, and robotics. It offers 25 µm interpolation (0025) with an index signal (pole periodic) and six-channel outputs (A+, A-, B+, B-, R+, R-) available as TTL/RS422 at 5 V or HTL/push-pull at 10–30 V; installation options include a 2 m cable or a 0.3 m harness with an 8-pin M12 connector. The sensor head measures 10 x 15 x 45.5 mm, weighs about 130 g, and is housed in a zinc die-cast enclosure with IP66/IP67 protection, rated for -40 °C to +85 °C. At the 25 µm resolution, maximum movement speed can reach up to 25 m/s, delivering fast, reliable feedback while the pole-index reference helps lock position during rapid motion.
