MEGA3 Area Alarm Beacon by BeaconMedaes is a rugged medical gas notification system component that centralizes master and area alarms for hospital gas networks. The master panel can monitor up to 40 digital signals, while the area alarm tracks up to eight gas badges, displaying gas name, usage, and status on a 10.2-inch color touchscreen. Digital gas sensor assemblies can be mounted locally in the rough-in box or remotely on the pipeline, with support for up to eight assemblies per area alarm panel. The system supports 4-20 mA outputs for connected devices and allows on-screen labeling and location text to be customized during configuration. It complies with NFPA 99 and CSA C22.2 no. 205 signal equipment standards and is ETL-listed to UL 1069. BeaconMedaes also offers an antimicrobial Biomaster additive for the enclosure to inhibit bacterial growth. The MEGA3 platform provides auto-diagnostics that test alarm indicators, audible annunciators, and display readings, and the area panel can be configured to reflect precise gas service statuses for hospital infrastructure. This combination makes the MEGA3 Area Alarm a dedicated solution for centralized monitoring of medical gases, enabling clear visual and audible alerts across zones while keeping critical gas information organized on a single, configurable touchscreen interface.
