Beckhoff BK1120 EtherCAT Bus Coupler is the bridge between an EtherCAT controller and Beckhoff K-bus standard bus terminals, enabling a distributed I/O scheme on a single K-bus powered from the EtherCAT network. As part of the BK11x0 family, the BK1120 translates EtherCAT frames into K-bus data and back, so a TwinCAT-based automation system can monitor inputs and drive outputs across remote I/O modules via standard KL-series terminals.
