Beckhoff EK1100 EtherCAT Coupler is the standard interface that links the EtherCAT master to Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminals (ELxxxx/ESxxxx/EMxxxx) on the E-bus, forming a complete EtherCAT station when paired with any number of terminals and a bus end terminal. As part of the EK1xxx family, the EK1100 is the preferred coupler for direct connection to the EtherCAT device protocol. A single EtherCAT station consists of the EK1100 coupler, any number of EtherCAT Terminals, and a bus end terminal.
