Beckhoff Automation EL1252 Digital Input Terminal

Beckhoff EL1252 is a two-channel EtherCAT digital input terminal that accepts 24 V DC signals, designed for fast, time-stamped event capture in automation networks. Each channel supports time-stamped input events with 1 µs resolution, enabling precise synchronization with distributed clocks and time-aligned responses when used with timestamp-enabled outputs such as the EL2252. The module is intended for reading signals from sensors and switches in an EtherCAT system, delivering reliable digital inputs to the controller. As part of Beckhoff's EL1xxx digital input family, the EL1252 integrates directly into a Beckhoff EtherCAT fieldbus and is commonly used where high-precision capture of digital events is required.
