Beckhoff EL2004 is a 4-channel digital output terminal for the EtherCAT I/O system that provides 24 V DC outputs to drive actuators at the process level. Each channel is rated for 0.5 A, with outputs electrically isolated from the bus to protect the controller and field devices. The module includes green status LEDs for outputs 1–4, which illuminate to indicate a 24 V output signal on the respective channel. It is designed to switch loads such as relays and other 24 V DC actuators under Beckhoff's EtherCAT network.
