Beckhoff Automation EL3162 Analog Input Terminal
Beckhoff Automation EL3162 Analog Input Terminal
Description:
Beckhoff EL3162 EtherCAT Terminal is a 2-channel analog input module for voltage signals that reads 0-10 V with 16-bit resolution, designed for simultaneous sampling on both inputs. Each channel is configured as a single-ended input with a reference to 0 V and an input impedance greater than 200 kΩ, enabling high-impedance sources to feed the terminal accurately. With a default conversion time around 50 µs (using Beckhoff's 50 Hz filter setting) and an input filter up to 5 kHz, the EL3162 delivers fast, precise measurements within an EtherCAT network. The device is powered from the EtherCAT bus (E-bus) with a typical current draw of about 170 mA, and it integrates into Beckhoff's EL3xxx family of analog input terminals for scalable automation systems.
