Beckhoff Automation EL4122 Analog Output Terminal

The Beckhoff EL4122 is a two-channel EtherCAT analog output terminal that delivers precise 4–20 mA current outputs with 16-bit resolution. Each channel drives a 4–20 mA loop using a shared +24 V power supply (up to 4 A total for the terminal) and a return path to 0 V; the terminal provides dedicated +24 V and 0 V power terminals for both outputs and a shield (FE) terminal for EMI protection. Commonly used in process control, valve actuation, and other industrial automation tasks, the EL4122 lets you convert digital signals from the Beckhoff controller into loop-powered current signals for actuators, transducers, and 4–20 mA sensors. Part of Beckhoff's EL41xx family of analog output modules, it is designed for rugged industrial environments and the operating temperature range 0 to +55 °C, with standard Beckhoff certifications and compatibility with EtherCAT fieldbus infrastructure.
