Beckhoff Automation EPP3314-0002 EtherCAT P Box

The Beckhoff EPP3314-0002 EtherCAT P Box is a compact four-channel analog input remote I/O unit designed for temperature measurement via thermocouples. As part of Beckhoff’s EtherCAT P Box family, it uses EtherCAT P to provide both communication and power over a single standard Ethernet cable, simplifying installation and reducing cabling. Each of the four channels delivers 16-bit resolution for thermocouple temperature signals and uses M12 connector interfaces suitable for rugged industrial environments. Beckhoff’s documentation notes that the EPP3314-0002 permits four thermocouples to be connected directly, enabling direct temperature sensing without additional signal-conditioning hardware.
