Beckhoff Automation IP3102-B520 Fieldbus Box
Beckhoff Automation IP3102-B520 Fieldbus Box
Description:
The Beckhoff IP3102-B520 Fieldbus Box is a four-channel analog input interface for DeviceNet networks, aggregating four differential voltage signals (up to ±10 V) into the DeviceNet fieldbus via M12 connections. Each channel presents 16-bit process data, enabling precise sensor readings, and the module supports device-level isolation between the fieldbus and control voltage up to 500 V while channels themselves are not isolated from one another. Sensor power is drawn from the load supply (DC, up to 30 V), and the unit is powered and daisy-chained through an M8 4‑pin connector (feed) and a downstream M8 4‑pin socket. DeviceNet baud rates supported by the family include 125, 250, and 500 kbaud, and conversion time is 250 ms by default (configurable to 5 ms), with input filtering options including averaging to tailor measurement behavior. In Beckhoff’s Fieldbus Box lineup, the IP3102-B520 integrates four 16-bit inputs into the DeviceNet process image, aligning with standard DeviceNet configuration practices (EDS documentation, node addressing, and status LEDs as typical features).
