Beckhoff Automation KL9010 End Terminal for KL9010 Terminal Block

Beckhoff KL9010 End Terminal is the official right-end termination for Beckhoff’s K-Bus KL9xxx bus terminal system, required to complete the bus and enable reliable data exchange between the Bus Coupler and the Bus Terminals at the end of a terminal chain. When mounted at the end of a KL9xxx bus block, the KL9010 serves as the termination point that preserves signal integrity on the K-Bus data channel. Authorized by Beckhoff and commonly listed by distributors for indoor control panels, the device is specified with an IP20 enclosure rating and an ambient operating range of approximately -25 to +60 °C. The KL9010 is designed to work with the KL9xxx family of bus terminals and is used wherever a properly terminated K-Bus segment is required; for setups employing a K-Bus extension cable, an alternative end terminal with an RJ45 connection is available (KL9020), which replaces the standard KL9010 at the end of the first bus block. As an end-terminal component, the KL9010 does not add I/O points itself, but provides the essential termination to maintain reliable communication across the bus network within Beckhoff’s modular automation architecture.
