Beckhoff BK1120 Industrial PC System Controller

Beckhoff BK1120 is an EtherCAT bus coupler that bridges a standard BK bus terminal I/O system to an EtherCAT network, enabling field I/O modules to be controlled from a PC-based control environment. It is designed for DIN-rail mounting on 35 mm profiles (EN 60715) and measures approximately 49 mm wide, 100 mm high, and 70 mm deep, with an IP20 enclosure suitable for protected industrial cabinet installation. The device supports vibration and shock resistance per EN 60068-2-6 / EN 60068-2-27 and EMC immunity/emission per EN 61000-6-2 / 61000-6-4, and carries approvals including CE, UKCA, cULus, EAC, and ATEX as indicated on the type plate. As part of Beckhoff’s BK11x0 family, the BK1120 provides the EtherCAT interface to standard K-bus terminal blocks, enabling scalable control architectures where I/O is distributed at the field level while the controller communicates over EtherCAT.
