The Beckhoff BK5200 Bus Coupler for DeviceNet connects the DeviceNet fieldbus to modular Beckhoff BK-series electronic terminal blocks, enabling a scalable I/O network behind a single head module. It supports up to 64 terminals per BK5200 and provides 512 bytes of input data plus 512 bytes of output data for efficient cyclic I/O, with power supplied over the bus cable per DeviceNet specs (11–25 V DC, nominal 24 V) and an input current of 70 mA + (total K-bus current)/4, up to 500 mA maximum. The module uses a single 5-pin open-pluggable bus connector for the DeviceNet link and includes an end terminal to terminate the bus chain.
