Beckhoff EK1100 EtherCAT Fieldbus Coupler Module

The Beckhoff EK1100 EtherCAT Coupler Module is the standard link between an EtherCAT master and Beckhoff EtherCAT Terminals, providing the device protocol and enabling seamless distribution of I/O across a modular network. As a direct plug‑in EtherCAT Box component, the EK1100 couples EtherCAT data from the 100BASE-TX RJ45 master interface to the EL/ES/EM terminal blocks and serves as the primary entry point for fieldbus I/O in many Beckhoff systems. The EK1100 family is designed for use directly on the EtherCAT master, supports up to 100 m between couplers, and includes variants such as EK1100-0008 with an M8 connection configuration; several EK1100 models also offer HotConnect with address setting on the device.
