Beckhoff EK1322 EtherCAT P Junction With Feed-In

Beckhoff EK1322 is a compact, 2-port EtherCAT P junction with feed-in that lets you extend both EtherCAT data and power to downstream devices over a single cable, simplifying topology in small automation cabinets. It provides two shielded EtherCAT P bus interfaces via 2 x M8 sockets (screw-type, shielded) to pass the EtherCAT signal while simultaneously delivering DC power to connected devices. The module uses an external 24 V DC feed-in for U_S and U_P (-15%/+20%), enabling downstream devices to share power from the junction. Beckhoff notes that EtherCAT modules are intended for use within Beckhoff’s UL-listed EtherCAT system, ensuring compatibility and safety within a Beckhoff automation ecosystem. With the EK1322's feed-in capability, you can branch an EtherCAT P network to two remote I/O groups or components while maintaining the single-cable power/data concept, reducing wiring and simplifying installation.
