Beckhoff EL1809 Digital Input Module

Beckhoff EL1809 is a 16-channel EtherCAT digital input terminal that accepts 24 V DC control signals and conveys binary inputs to the controller. It features a 3 ms input filter, provides galvanic isolation between field and E-bus up to 500 V, and a typical input current of about 3 mA per channel; the module presents a 16-bit input process image. The device is wired with solid wires via direct plug-in and with stranded wires or ferrules via spring-clamp connections, supporting solid conductors 0.08–1.5 mm² and stranded/ferrule conductors 0.14–0.75 mm²; it weighs about 65 g and has an IP20 enclosure with an operating range from -25 to +60°C. Configuration is done in TwinCAT System Manager; there is no onboard address setting required for EL1809.
