DESCRIPTION
The Beckhoff EL1904 is a TwinSAFE digital safety input terminal for use in EtherCAT systems. It features 4 safety-rated digital inputs, designed to connect safety sensors (e.g., emergency stop buttons, light curtains, or safety switches) with 24V DC input levels. As part of the TwinSAFE safety solution, the EL1904 integrates seamlessly into Beckhoff’s safety architecture and allows for flexible, software-based safety control within the EtherCAT I/O system.
