Beckhoff EL2034 Four Channel Digital Input Terminal

Beckhoff EL2034 is a four-channel digital output terminal for EtherCAT that provides four independent 24 V DC outputs, each rated for up to 2 A, enabling direct control of relays, contactors, and solenoids from a single EtherCAT I/O device. As part of the EL20xx family, the module supports electrical isolation between the control logic and the actuators and integrates seamlessly with Beckhoff fieldbus networks. It includes per-channel diagnostic LEDs and fault-detection bits to indicate short circuits or wire breaks on any channel, improving fault diagnosis and system reliability. The compact terminal mounts on a standard Beckhoff rail and maintains EtherCAT communication while delivering fast, deterministic switching within the network cycle. This makes the EL2034 well-suited for applications such as packaging lines, conveyors, machine tending, and other automation tasks that require four discrete 24 V outputs from a single node.
