Description:

The Beckhoff EL2904 is a 4-channel digital output EtherCAT terminal from the TwinSAFE safety series. It switches 24 V DC actuators up to 0.5 A per channel with fail-safe outputs controlled via Safety-over-EtherCAT (FSoE) by a TwinSAFE logic controller. Designed for safe automation, it features integrated current measurement and configurable diagnostics to detect cross-wiring and ensure safety shutdown on errors. Standard outputs can be enabled in parallel, enabling faster switching when safety release is granted.
