Beckhoff EL4008 Analog Output Terminal EtherCAT

Beckhoff EL4008 EtherCAT Terminal is an eight-channel analog output module for EtherCAT networks that generates process voltages of 0–10 V with 12‑bit resolution across all channels. Power is supplied from a 24 V DC source via the module’s power contacts and from the E‑bus, with typical consumption of 40 mA on the power contacts and 100 mA on the E‑bus; the outputs are galvanically isolated from the bus with 500 V isolation. The EL4008 provides a process‑image of 8 × 16‑bit AO outputs, a conversion time of roughly 400 µs, distributed clocks for synchronized operation, and an optional watchdog feature that can ramp to a user‑defined value while synchronization can be activated. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail (EN 60715), measures about 12 mm wide by 100 mm high by 68 mm deep, weighs roughly 85 g, and operates from -25 to +60°C (storage -40 to +85°C) with EMC immunity/emission conforming to EN 61000-6-2/6-4.
