Beckhoff EL5151 Incremental Encoder Interface Terminal

The Beckhoff EL5151 Incremental Encoder Interface Terminal is an EtherCAT I/O module that connects to incremental encoders and transmits position and speed data to Beckhoff EtherCAT master controllers for real-time motion control. Belonging to the EL Series, this DIN-rail mounted terminal accepts incremental encoder input with A, B, and reference (Z) channels and communicates over the EtherCAT terminal bus for precise, synchronized feedback. It is designed for 0°C to 55°C operation and is used in motion control applications, CNC machines, packaging equipment, robotics cells, conveyors, and production lines where accurate encoder feedback is critical.
