Beckhoff EL9189 Potential Distribution Terminal

Beckhoff EL9189 HD EtherCAT potential distribution terminal provides 16 front-access 0 V DC outputs, enabling tapping of the 0 V potential along the EtherCAT bus without the need for additional bus terminal blocks or wiring, which simplifies wiring and reduces cabinet depth while keeping a common return path neatly organized on a single module. It is rated for a current load up to 10 A and a nominal voltage up to 60 V, with 500 V isolation between the E-bus and field potentials, and it occupies a compact 12 mm of rail width, weighing about 60 g for easy integration in dense layouts. Wiring uses direct plug-in for solid conductors (0.08–1.5 mm²) and spring-actuation for stranded conductors or ferrules (0.14–0.75 mm²); side-by-side mounting with other EL9xxx EtherCAT Terminals is supported, with options for mounting with or without PE contact, and the unit carries CE and UL approvals (Ex certification noted in Beckhoff documentation).
