Beckhoff KL1418 NSNBC01 Programmable Logic Controller

Beckhoff KL1418 NSNBC01 is an 8-channel digital input terminal in Beckhoff's KL bus-terminal family that brings binary 24 V DC signals from the field level into the automation controller via EtherCAT. Each of the eight inputs is a positive-switching channel (24 V DC) with a fast 0.2 ms response, ideal for rapid sensing of sensors, limit switches, and start/stop signals. The unit is housed in an IP20-rated enclosure for panel installation and is specified for operation from -25 to 60 C, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments. It provides galvanic isolation between field signals and the bus, protecting the controller from electrical noise and surges, and it can be integrated with TwinCAT software and Beckhoff EtherCAT masters for scalable, synchronized I/O. As part of the KL1xxx line, it teams with other digital input and output modules to create customized I/O configurations across machines such as packaging lines, conveyors, and automated assembly systems.
