Beckhoff KL2408 8 Channel Digital Output Terminal

Beckhoff KL2408 is an eight-channel digital output terminal for 24 V DC with positive switching, delivering up to 0.5 A per channel. It provides electrical isolation between the control side and the field side, with overload and short-circuit protection on each output, and channel LEDs to indicate status. Connection technology is 1-wire, and the outputs are powered from the 24 V power contact with the power contacts looped through for simple daisy-chaining in space-saving control cabinets. As part of Beckhoff's KL2xxx family, the KL2408 uses K-Bus (bus terminal) communication and is designed to drive actuators such as relays, contactors, and other 24 V devices in industrial automation, offering a compact, reliable way to translate binary control signals from the PLC to process-level actuators.
