Beckhoff KL2622 Bus Terminal Relay Output Module

Beckhoff KL2622 is a two‑channel relay output terminal for the Beckhoff K‑Bus/Bus Terminal system that provides isolated, potential‑free relay contacts for simple on/off load switching. Each channel is a make (normally open) contact rated to switch up to 5 A at up to 250 V AC or 30 V DC, with no power contacts on the module itself. The relay contacts are isolated from the bus and are controlled directly by the bus coupler, meaning no separate supply is required for the relay coil. The KL2622 family includes variants such as KL2622‑0000 and KL2622‑0010; the latter adds status/synchronization LED indicators, where the green LEDs show bus synchronization and, if no process data is received for about 100 ms, the LEDs extinguish and the relay opens after the typical response time. This compact two‑channel terminal is designed to slot into a Beckhoff I/O rail alongside other KL26xx devices, enabling straightforward integration into an EtherCAT/Beckhoff automation stack for controlling external devices such as signaling elements, relays, or actuators that require isolated switching.
