Beckhoff KL3314 Digital Input Terminal Module

Beckhoff KL3314 is a four-channel analog input terminal in the KL3xxx family designed for direct thermocouple measurements within Beckhoff's EtherCAT I/O system. The module provides 16-bit resolution per channel for precise temperature readings and supports open-circuit recognition on each channel, enabling fault detection when a thermocouple becomes disconnected. It draws operating power from the K-bus (no separate supply required) and mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail in accordance with EN 60715, aligning with the footprint of other KL3x modules. Ideal for local temperature monitoring in industrial automation, process control, or HVAC applications, the KL3314 offers four thermocouple inputs that can be connected directly to standard thermocouples and integrated into TwinCAT software workflows over EtherCAT. The compact enclosure measures approximately 15 mm wide by 100 mm high by 70 mm deep, with a width-aligned 12 mm footprint to facilitate dense I/O layouts on a 35 mm DIN rail.
