Beckhoff KL3314 Thermocouple Analog Input Terminal

Beckhoff KL3314 is a four-channel thermocouple input terminal for Beckhoff EtherCAT bus-terminals, enabling direct connection of thermocouples to a controller. Each of the four channels is sampled with 16‑bit resolution, delivering precise temperature measurements for multi-point monitoring. The terminal performs thermocouple linearization and calculates the reference temperature at the terminal contact, with the option to disable the reference-temperature calculation if needed. It also provides open-circuit detection to quickly identify a disconnected or faulty thermocouple, helping ensure data integrity. As part of the KL3xxx family, the KL3314 integrates with TwinCAT software and Beckhoff fieldbus configurations, making it suitable for process control, lab automation, and industrial monitoring where reliable, multi‑channel TC measurements are required.
