Beckwith Electric M3410A Motor Protection Module

The Beckwith Electric M-3410A Intertie/Generator Protection Relay is a microprocessor-based protective relay designed for intertie and generator protection, delivering 15 protective functions including Sync-check with phase angle, ΔV, and ΔF, phase undervoltage (27), and ground undervoltage (27G), plus directional power detection that can be configured for over- or under-power protection (function 32). It provides two programmable outputs and two programmable inputs for external-control integration, and its voltage inputs can be connected directly to voltages up to 480 V (no voltage transformer required) for simplified installations. Local and remote MODBUS serial communications enable monitoring and control across protected assets. Beckwith Electric offers four mounting configurations, including horizontal and vertical panel-mount options, to fit a range of switchgear enclosures. The M-3410A measures 12 in wide by 12 in high by 2.56 in deep and weighs about 9.81 lb, and is positioned for DG/DER interconnection protection within Beckwith's protection-relay lineup.
