Belden 89907E4X20AWG50OHM Shielded Ethernet Coax Cable
Belden 89907E4X20AWG50OHM Shielded Ethernet Coax Cable
Description:
Belden 89907 E4X 20 AWG 50 Ω shielded Ethernet coax cable is a Thinnet (IEEE 802.3 10BASE2) coax designed for legacy Ethernet networks, built around a 20 AWG stranded tinned copper conductor (19×32) with foam FEP insulation and a 50 Ω impedance. It uses a dual-layer shield: Duobond II with 100% coverage plus a tinned copper braid shield at about 95% coverage, all encased in a CMP-rated fluoropolymer jacket suitable for plenum spaces. Typical conductor diameter is around 0.037 in, with a capacitance near 26 pF/ft, and an operating temperature range that supports demanding environments. Available reel options include 500 ft (89907 E4X500) and 2,500 ft (89907 E4X2500) variants in gray jacket, offering flexibility for both short-run installs and longer pulls. This cable is intended for 10 Mbps Ethernet applications over coax, combining Belden’s 50 Ω performance with robust shielding to help minimize external interference in industrial or commercial settings.
