Belimo AFB24-MFT Valve Actuator is a fail-safe, spring-return actuator designed for damper and valve control in HVAC systems. Operating from 24 V AC or DC, it delivers 180 in-lb (20 Nm) of torque and moves 95 degrees of travel, enabling compatibility with a wide range of dampers and globe valves. The unit draws about 7.5 W and achieves a full-stroke travel in roughly 150 seconds, making it suitable for moderate-speed positioning in HVAC applications. As part of Belimo’s Multi-Function Technology (MFT) family, the AFB24-MFT is programmable to support diverse control schemes and feedback options, providing predictable, fail-safe operation when power is lost. Its fail-safe design returns the damper or valve to a defined position, ensuring safe shutdown and minimized air leakage in critical situations, while the indoor-friendly NEMA 2 enclosure supports typical installation environments.
