Bell-Everman SBR-16-31 ServoBelt Rotary Actuator
Bell-Everman SBR-16-31 ServoBelt Rotary Actuator
Description:
Bell-Everman SBR-16-31 ServoBelt Rotary Actuator is a compact NEMA 23 servo-driven rotary stage designed for high-precision angular positioning in a small footprint. Configured as a 3:1 belt-drive rotary with a 100 mm diameter stage, it presents a 50 mm tall profile and includes a through-hole aperture of Ø16 mm for cabling and center clearance. The unit uses preloaded duplex angular-contact bearings to maintain rigidity and minimize runout, while feedback comes from a 16KCPR rotary motor encoder to provide deterministic positioning. The Ø16 mm through-hole and precise bearing/drive arrangement support stable repeatability in metrology, optical alignment, and precision instrumentation, and Bell-Everman notes that ServoBelt rotary stages are commonly employed in metrology and semiconductor manufacturing environments. For applications requiring even higher angular resolution, optional high-precision encoders such as Renishaw ring encoders or tape scales can be configured to enhance resolution on partial-rotation tasks.
