Description:

Bell & Gossett 110190LF B-38 1/2" Pressure Reducing Valve is a lead-free brass hydronic regulator designed to limit system fill pressure in boilers and radiant heating circuits. The compact 1/2" NPT valve features a factory setting of 12 psig and an adjustable range of 10–25 psig, enabling safe, stable pressure across varying supply conditions. Built with a lead-free brass body, the B-38 series valve handles temperatures up to 225°F and, at a 125 psig inlet, supports a maximum flow of about 5.5–6 GPM depending on system hydraulics. Common applications include boiler feeds, radiant floor heating, and other closed hydronic circuits where precise pressure regulation is essential; ensure your piping uses 1/2" NPT connections and that your system design aligns with the valve’s setpoint and flow characteristics, as documented in Bell & Gossett literature (A-430I submittal) and related product brochures.
