Bently Nevada 31000-4X Proximity Probe Housing

The Bently Nevada 31000-4X Proximity Probe Housing is a rugged external housing assembly designed to mount proximity probes through a machine casing, typically used for radially mounted transducers for vibration or Keyphasor measurements. The main body is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) with corrosion-resistant stainless-steel components and carries a Type 4X/NEMA 4X and IP66 rating for protection against dust and hose-directed water in harsh environments. It provides external access to the proximity probe and its extension cable, enabling gap adjustments or probe replacement without disassembling the machine, and can be ordered with installed 3300 XL proximity probes. The 31000/32000 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are API 670 compliant and, when used with approved transducer systems and barriers, can be employed in intrinsically safe hazardous-area applications.
