The Bently Nevada 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System is a long-range, non‑contact vibration and displacement sensing solution for fluid‑film bearing machines, delivering a precise 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output and a larger 11 mm tip to extend the usable measurement range beyond the standard 8 mm system. The package includes a 3300 XL 11 mm probe, a 3300 XL 11 mm extension cable, and a 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor, providing an integrated proximity transducer set designed for accurate real-time monitoring. Its 3.94 V/mm output enables reliable displacement data for monitoring axial thrust position, ramp differential expansion on steam turbines, and rod position or rod drop on reciprocating compressors, as well as tachometer/zero-speed signals and phase reference inputs (Keyphasor). The 11 mm Proximity Transducer System is intended to replace the older 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm transducer systems; upgrading from those systems requires replacing every component with 3300 XL 11 mm hardware, and, if used with a 3500 Monitoring System, demands an updated software configuration that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm as a compatible option. For integration with 3300 monitoring ecosystems, existing systems may require modifications to support the new components. The proximity sensor assembly weighs about 255 g, and the extended linear range of the 11 mm tip supports reliable measurements across broader displacement ranges in demanding turbine and compressor applications.
