Bernstein KCB-M12PS 002-KLSM8 Capacitive Sensor

The Bernstein KCB-M12PS/002-KLSM8 capacitive sensor is a compact M12‑size proximity switch with an M8 connector that detects non-conductive targets at a tight 2 mm range. It operates from 10–36 V DC and provides a PNP DC NC output (normally closed) with a rated load current up to 200 mA and a maximum switching frequency of 25 Hz, plus cyclic short‑circuit protection and an LED indicator for status. With an IP65 rating, a -25 to +70 °C operating range, and a flush-front housing measuring 80 mm in length, this sensor is well-suited to tight automation installs such as presence detection behind machine shields, in packaging lines, and other short-range sensing tasks where non-metallic materials are being detected.
