Bernstein KIN-M12PS 004-KS12 Proximity Switch Sensor

Bernstein KIN-M12PS/004-KS12 is an inductive proximity switch sensor in a compact M12 form factor designed for non-contact metal detection in industrial automation. It operates from a DC supply of 10–30 V and draws up to 200 mA, making it compatible with common PLC inputs. The nominal sensing distance is 4 mm, enabling reliable detection of nearby metal targets without mechanical contact. Wiring options include a 3-conductor cable (3 x 0.14 mm²) or an M12 connector (M12 x 1), providing flexible mounting and cabling. The enclosure carries an IP67 rating and is rated for ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C, suitable for dirty, dusty, or damp environments. Protective features include false polarity protection and short-circuit protection, with an LED indicator to verify operating status.
