The Berthold LB509 Radioflow Detector is a compact radiometric detector for HPLC that uses a flow cell positioned between two 2" photomultiplier tubes operating in coincidence, with Optimized Coincidence Time to suppress background and improve sensitivity for a wide range of radioisotopes. It supports multiple flow-cell types, including high-pressure cells for HPLC/MS, microbore configurations, gamma, Cherenkov, and YG scintillators, enabling flexible detection of radiolabeled compounds downstream of your chromatography column. The unit is powered from 115 VAC and consumes up to 75 VA, and can be integrated with standard HPLC controllers to support automated sample handling and waste management tasks in radiochemical workflows.
