The BICON Barr-A 424UB-04 Explosion-Proof Cable Gland is a 1" NPT entry device for unarmoured cables, part of Prysmian/BICON’s Barr-A Ex d llC family and designed to prevent gas migration into equipment in hazardous locations. It accepts unarmoured cables with a minimum diameter of 0.67 in and a maximum of 1.06 in, and features a hub length of 1.07 in with a protrusion length of 2.08 in for secure sealing when mounted to compatible enclosures; it is intended for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 areas and supports Class I, II & III, Division 1 and 2 installations, making it suitable for marine, oil and gas, and other industrial applications requiring explosion-proof cable entries.
