Bihl+Wiedemann BWU2267 Programmable Logic Controller

BWU2267 is an ASi-3 EtherNet/IP + Modbus TCP gateway with an integrated safety monitor, designed to bridge two ASi networks to industrial Ethernet while providing safety-aware I/O control. It operates as a two-master ASi gateway, using one power supply to feed both ASi networks, and offers 4 digital inputs with expansion to a maximum of 62 x 2-channel safe inputs. The unit provides 4 release circuits (2 relay outputs and 2 electronic safe outputs), expandable to a total of 16 safe outputs, enabling safe and conventional I/O combinations in demanding automation environments. For diagnostics and configuration, BWU2267 supports Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP, plus an RS232 diagnostic interface, with features such as duplicate address recognition and an ASi fault detector; programming in C is optional. The device is IP20 rated and TÜV Rheinland of North America safety-certified to UL standards for the North American market.
