Bihl+Wiedemann BWU2545 AS-i 3.0 Profibus Gateway

The BWU2545 AS-i-3 PROFIBUS Gateway in stainless steel is a two-master, two-network gateway that bridges AS-i 3.0 devices to a PROFIBUS network, enabling seamless integration of AS-i sensors and actuators into industrial automation. Housed in a rugged IP40 stainless-steel enclosure, it is designed for demanding environments where protection against solid objects is required. The gateway provides two AS-i networks and two AS-i Masters, with diagnostic and configuration access via an Ethernet diagnostic interface and automatic duplicate-address recognition to prevent conflicts on the bus. It supports optional programming in C for custom logic and fault handling, and is specified to handle up to 8 A per AS-i network, using a single power supply powering both networks.
